What’s going on folks! I’m Eric Eckhardt and I work as Align’s investment property specialist. Having started my career in Brooklyn, I focused on selling commercial real estate throughout Northern Brooklyn for Marcus & Millichap. Representing landlords in this fast-paced environment made it clear that market knowledge, expertise, and good ol’ fashion creativity are the best ways to insure your success. In 4 years, I negotiated and closed over $50M in transactions throughout neighborhoods such as Bushwick, Bed-Stuy, Williamsburg, and Crown Heights. Being a Hudson County native, I wanted to utilize my passion to help owners right in my own backyard.
Being bilingual, I take extreme pride in helping fellow Hispanics navigate the sales process, whether that’s helping them achieve a piece of the American Dream of home ownership, or making sure they receive top dollar when selling...everyone deserves the best representation possible!
I was born in Hoboken and grew up in Hudson County having lived in Jersey City, Union City & Weehawken. As a kid, I would accompany my father, who managed SRO property throughout the county, and I attribute my people skills to him, observing him throughout his day, and interacting with people from all walks of life. I ended up attending high school in East Brunswick (Central Jersey Stand Up!) and feel fortunate that I got to experience the best of both inner city and suburban life.
I attended Wesleyan University in CT where I played football for the Cardinals and Majored in Poli-Sci. Like most college graduates I wasn’t sure what I wanted to do career-wise but when the real estate came calling, my competitive juices started flowing again. I now reside in Central Jersey with my wife, son and two dogs.My main priority with every owner I work with is to provide a comprehensive view of the market, ensuring they’re making the best possible decision for themselves and their families.
